FCPL Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is an organization committed to supporting the Finney County Public Library and its projects and programs. An annual membership fee of $10 gets you into this exclusive group of book and library lovers. The Friends group meets at least four times a year to plan events and share interests.

Volunteers work together to organize and carry out several book sales throughout the year including the annual PREMIUM BOOK and BAKE SALE that occurs in the first week of June to coincide with Beef Empire Days.

The Friends of the Library organization is pleased to have been a part of

the initiative to establish an endowment fund for the

Finney County Public Library through the Western Kansas Community Foundation.

The Friends has committed more than $20,000 to this fund from proceeds of books sales

and other events over the last few years.
