The Board of Trustees of the Finney County Public Library has established a library fund in the Western Kansas Community Foundation (501(c)(3)) to benefit the library and plan for its future needs. In 2006, the fund had reached more than $75,000. The fund grows as a result of gifts, memorials, and inheritances from those dedicated to preserving the library for future use. Major benefits from the fund will not be experienced in the immediate future, but generations to come will have access to more and current resources through the generosity of present and future contributors.
Giving to the fund is a great way to remember or honor a special person, living or deceased. There is no minimum (or maximum) amount required to participate. Businesses, organizations, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to support our public library in this manner. Contributions may be given to any Library Board Trustee, the Western Kansas Community Foundation office at Western State Bank, or to a library employee. Make checks payable to
